The works of Artists-in-Residency at Treasure Hill Artist Village in Taipei.
Using the motif of window's iron grille usually seen on the streets of Taipei, this installation work attempts to connect the windows of the gallery with each other across the room.
The iron grille usually exists outside the windows as an extension of the interior.
This is now extended into the room as an extension of the outdoors.
Like a film set, only the surface is made of metalized wood, while the backside is left bare.
This iron grille certainly exists as a fake.
People are only allowed to enter the interior of the back side and are forced to view the interior of the iron grille as an extension of the outdoors.
