This works was made for exhibition at former sawmill of Okutama. I made the room on the existing beam, and gave typical interior inside. People could climb a ladder to go into inside. I made this works as a “inside” of this buildings. I thought the situation that people and other works existed the space which is not outside nor inside either. On the other words, All activity existed at “the distance” like “under a floor” or “wall thickness” .
During a exhibition, people went into inside this works gazed the situations of “the distance” from “inside” alone.
